Recap: Cookie Crave Sept 19, 2026

Last Saturday I played an hour set at the Cookie Crave here in Denton, and it was a stellar time!

I debuted Schweetheart (the little red orangutan who sits on my guitar) and everyone loved him, as expected.

I played 16 songs, 9 of which were covers, as well as 7 of my own songs, 4 of which I'd never played in public. One of them I had to tack on at the end because I had extra time, so I'll be adding another song to the setlist for the next show.

I used a tiny portable Samson PA, and it was pretty much perfect for the space.

I got it all on video, and I'll be going through it soon and posting some clips. Maybe I'll make the whole thing available for members.

I want to give a huge thank you to the Cookie Crave for hosting me and for setting aside some vegan/gluten free cookies for me before they were all sold out. And I want to thank everyone who came by to listen, left me a tip, or even just stopped in for a few minutes to buy cookies. It really meant a lot to me to be able to share what I've been working on with a room full of attentive listeners and friends.
